How to Operate Your Computer from Other Device Using SplashTop
Recently I made a post about how to use your smartphone as remote control for your computer which works pretty well through Wi-Fi connection, but today I want to share another idea that works like magic.
Sometime ago I applied for an online job in a company based in US, and for anyone to surpass their interview the company must have access to your computer, to know how well your internet service can serve them and other techy stuffs. So how they successfully operated my PC from far USA, that’s what I will discuss today.
This tutorial will be helpful for those who teach stuffs online or you want someone in far distance to put you through techy stuff on your PC.
How does it work?
The software that’s professionally capable of performing this feature is Splashtop Remote developed by Splashtop Inc.
Splashtop remote allows users to connect to and control computers from any device, such as a computer, iPad, iPhone, or Android device. According to Wikipedia Splashtop uses a proprietary protocol capable of delivering real-time video and audio to the remote user at 60+ frames per seconds and low latency.

There are two phase to these approach one is the device you want to remote from and the device that will be controlled, so if you want to control your computer from iPad, iPhone, computer or Android device.
Go to www.splashtop.com/download and install Splashtop app by selecting the platform you want to remote from, devices splashtop support includes:
Windows XP, 7, 8, 10, Windows Modern UI app, Windows Phone, Mac OS X 10.7+, iPad, iPhone, Android device.
After installation, register a new account then an authentication mail will be sent to your email for authorization.
Now on the device that you want to remote to, go to www.splashtop.com/download and install splashtop streamer on the computer either Windows XP, 7, 8, 10 or Mac OS X 10.7+.
After successful installation, login to splashtop streamer with the login details you used while registering the app.
Immediately you’re able to login on both devices, the two devices will connect with each other and you will have total control of your computer through the other device.
